A Get Well Soon card.

I made this lovely card for my cousin who has under gone major surgery. I hope it will help to cheer her up.

Everything was from my stash including all the flowers from Wild Orchid.

Just heard that a friend is due home anytime today after having a hip replacement yesterday would you believe. Back to the craft room after lunch to make another card, ha ha.

Two cards to show you today.

This one is for an order to be picked up on Wednesday. Used Pink Petticoat paper and my own printed sentiment. Mounted on to matt silver card and Pearl Perfection paper. A ribbon from my stash to complete.

Same order, how did you guess,ha ha.
Pink Petticoat papers once again mounted on to White card and gold mirri card. Image is George from the Dottie Downloads. Coloured with copic pens. A few gold peel offs to finish.

The other day, I went a walk with my two Grand-daughters along the canal bank to feed the ducks and swans. Mummy swan was on the other bank looking after her 10 cygnets. Daddy swan came up to the side of the bank and allowed me to feed him by hand as I have done many times before. One or two narrow boats passed us with no problem at all but then came along the BIG pleasure trip canal barge. Well he went completely nuts over this barge. He attacked the sides of it, then let it go on a bit and flapped and paddled back to it to attack once more. Thought that was it but oh no. He did it again and again untill they were well out of sight. Just managed to get a shot before we went on the attack once more.

At this point his family were way back in the other direction, ha ha.

Here is a picture I took of Mummy swan with her 10 cygnets not long after they were hatched.

Hopefully the third card will be ready to show tomorrow so with that I will sign off for today.

Had a weekend off crafting as such, just started a baby blanket to do a bit of stash busting.
Yesterday I went with my Sister to put some flowers on Mum's grave. It was a beautiful day although there was quite a cool breeze. The graveyard looked beautiful, even though the daffs had died, there were daisies all over the place and the grass had been very well tended.

Thought these flowers looked lovely and fresh. The graveyard is a few miles away from home so we try and visit as regularly as we can to keep it looking nice.

Back to card making tomorrow so will get the results published tomorrow evening.

Ok, back again wow two nights on the trot! Ha Ha.

Going to show you some other crafts that I have been partaking in over the last few months. In November last year I had the misfortune to 'trip' or more like 'fly' over the top of a big labrador. Not my own you must understand but a yellow lab. I landed full flat down on my front and to cut a long story short, I cracked a few ribs and it also came to light a few months after that I had damaged tendons in my foot. your foot as much as possible was the advice from the start, plus of course it would help my ribs to heal.

Standing making cards was to be honest not very comfortable for any length of time, so my knitting and crochet gathered speed.

Made a few cuddly toys from Gipsycream on Craftsy. Her patterns can be found here.

Honey the Puppy Dog was one of the first I made and the pattern was so so easy to follow. I had never really attempted to make anything like this before but I loved every single minute of it. I then had to make 2 more for my Granddaughters by request.

This one is Disco Monkey made from the Cheeky Monkey pattern from Gipsycream.  The yarn was sparkly as well as randomly coloured and I was very pleased with the effect. This I showed on Facebook and sold it straight away to a friend who lives down the road, so he wasn't part of my family for very long.

Baby Bear is yet another pattern from Gipsycream and he is an absolute joy to make. Made 2 more of these for my other Granddaughters in a lilac colour.

Hope you have enjoyed looking at these 'toys', those I have sold I have donated money to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance fund as a small thank you for helping to save my Hubby's life the year before last when he had a heart attack.

I will make any of these to order in most colours. Drop me a line on my email with your requests.

That's all from me for the moment hope to catch up again tomorrow.

Been away for far too long now. Seem to have been so busy with one thing or another and have not thought about doing my blog.
I need to get more organised so that I can do a catch up in the evenings.

I will start the ball rolling by showing you one or two cards I have done recently and hopefully add to the crafts I have been doing as well as the card making.

This was a card I made for an order, the customer ...and I hope the Bride and Groom..............loved it. Whiff Of Joy stamp coloured with copics, using my own die cut design for the base and background of the easel card. Flowers and leaves from my stash/

This one although using the same Whiff Of Joy stamp, I think turned out completely differently. This was made for my niece who's wedding we could not attend unfortunately as we were due to go on our hols not long afterwards.

Here are just a few of the photographs i took on our holiday on the Isle of Mull. Our usual haunt this as we try to go and stay on the Pennyghael Estate at least twice a year. Love the place, no two days are the same no matter what the weather.

Hope to get some more blogging done tomorrow when I have finished my latest project. Stil crafting but a side step away from my card making. Hope you like it!!

An award from Carol.

Ooohhh, it is ages since I got an award for my blog. Mind you, I have not kept up with my entries very well as life does tend to get in the way of crafting. Many thanks Carol for thinking of me and I will be glad to pass it on as the rules state.

The following is about the award:

The idea is to draw attention to blogs with less than 200 followers and pass the award on to 5 other bloggers all in the spirit of fostering new connections.

The rules are as follows:

1. Show your appreciation to the person who gave the award to you by thanking them and linking back to their blog.

2. Post the award onto your own blog.

3. Give the award to 5 bloggers ( with less than 200 followers) that you appreciate and follow.

4. Leave a comment to the 5 bloggers to let them know you have chosen them for the award.

Leibster in Greman means 'Dearest' , so to carry on this tradition on, here are the blogs I would like to pass the award on to:

Lyse at Pixie Amethyst

Again, many thanks Carol for my lovely award.

Still learning.

This gorgeous bracelet was made by my Grand-daughter with a little help from me, lol. Think we are both learning together.
This was me having a go at making some bling earrings. Still need practice with the forming of the loops at the top of the headpin but I am getting better at it.

A bit of bling!

I have been trying my hand at a bit of jewellery making. I am finding it very relaxing, except when I have to struggle to get the beading thread through some of the tiny holes, lol.

Had quite a few beads that I have collected over the years and been given by lovely friends. My Grand-daughter wanted to make something for her Mum for her birthday and something for Christmas and I am afraid the bug took hold of me.

Something a bit special

Made for an order for a lady's 70th Birthday.

Card and decorations all cut on my Black Cat Cougar, using white linen card.

Ribbon and other embellishments from stash.

Finding the time to post is hard at the moment but I will try and do more blogging.

Been making a bit of jewellery so will post some of that as well.

How time flies.

Can't believe it is so long since I posted, naughty naughty, must try harder...... to find time to organise my life, ha ha.

Made this card for my Grand-daughter's birthday, 4 today and such a little cutie that I had to make a card to match.

Base card is white linen card.
Flowers are cut myself with my cougar.
Card cut from my own design svg file again on my cougar.
Sentiment card from my design, cut on my cougar.
Some flower layers were glittered with pink ultra fine glitter and were finished off with a gem in the centre.

Off to put the svg file on my new website.
