Silver Wedding Cake and Box

Here is the third and the one that we are sending to my Sister and her hubby for their Silver Wedding Anniversary. The cake and the box were cut on my KNK using a template by my friend Linda on a forum I visit regularly. She does have some templates on a cd for sale here, but are for Craft Robo at the moment. The cake was embossed on my cuttlebug prior to assembling. I then used peel offs to decorate the edge. Stacked them and then glittered the joins and placed a cutout 25 in silver on the top. I adapted a template for the box as I wanted to make it 8 sided to match the cake. Again I embossed it on the cuttlebug prior to assembling and then gathered at the top and decorated with ribbons and tags.

A Couple of Silver Wedding Cards

Had 2 orders for the same Silver Wedding Anniversary. The first one was for the Wife to give the Husband and the second one was for the Husband to give the Wife! This is the first time I have actually designed templates to use on my KNK so was quite proud of that! Basically white card on silver mirri card with the addition of a bouquet of paper roses and a feather on the second one. The sentiments were written on my KNK too.

A Dottie Good Luck Card

I made this card for my daughter to give to her friend who has landed herself a very good job. I used a Dottie at work download and coloured it with sakura pens. Backing paper is a Dovecraft 8x8 paper from the Amethyst - Floral Prints that I got last year. Pink Petticoat dottie paper and white card for the mats, cut on my KNK again. Flowers are Flora Doodles and ribbon from my stash. The top corner flourishes are cuttlebug die cuts.

Pink Petticoat Christmas Card

Been ages again since I posted on my blog, sorry, but been a little busy with Hubby's accounts, 'nuff said I think!
I made this using a Pink Petticoat image, coloured with Whisper pens and matted on their papers. The gold snowflake I cut on my Klic n Kut. Just a simple quick card that I managed to fit in.

Festive card

This one is more traditional I feel. Made with bits from my stash from last year and features a little matting and layering LOL!!!

Dottie Christmas card

Not really got my mojo back yet so very unsure about what I am producing at the moment. Still got to keep trying I guess!
Backing paper from last years dovecraft christmas 8 x8 set. Dottie image is a download from Charmed Cards And Crafts coloured with pencils and mounted on circles with inked edges. A bow, a diecut sentiment, snowflake charm brad and some small punched snowflakes completes the card.

Whiff Of Joy Blog Candy

Inge is offering some truly fabulous blog candy. Hop over to her blog and check this out, well worth leaving a comment to be in with a chance of winning.

Something different!

This card was made last night, just a quicky as I had seen it in one of my magazines so thought as I had a little time that I would have a go.
The base burgundy card is from my stash and I used the snowflake embossing folder on the front, using my new cuttlebug. The triangular piece is mounted onto gold. The cartoon cat is scanned from the template section of the magazine and printed out then coloured using Whisper markers, then mounted on the card. I added some glitter glue to the hat for a bit of bling!. Made the banner and attached with a brad and snowflake charm from my stash and a little gold bow and gems to finish. Not sure if I am too keen on it as it is different to what i usually do but there you go, nothing ventured nothing gained as they say.
Sorry about the quality of the photos these last few days but we have had virtually NO daylight so it is very hard to get the lighting right.
