A Get Well Soon card.

I made this lovely card for my cousin who has under gone major surgery. I hope it will help to cheer her up.

Everything was from my stash including all the flowers from Wild Orchid.

Just heard that a friend is due home anytime today after having a hip replacement yesterday would you believe. Back to the craft room after lunch to make another card, ha ha.

Two cards to show you today.

This one is for an order to be picked up on Wednesday. Used Pink Petticoat paper and my own printed sentiment. Mounted on to matt silver card and Pearl Perfection paper. A ribbon from my stash to complete.

Same order, how did you guess,ha ha.
Pink Petticoat papers once again mounted on to White card and gold mirri card. Image is George from the Dottie Downloads. Coloured with copic pens. A few gold peel offs to finish.

The other day, I went a walk with my two Grand-daughters along the canal bank to feed the ducks and swans. Mummy swan was on the other bank looking after her 10 cygnets. Daddy swan came up to the side of the bank and allowed me to feed him by hand as I have done many times before. One or two narrow boats passed us with no problem at all but then came along the BIG pleasure trip canal barge. Well he went completely nuts over this barge. He attacked the sides of it, then let it go on a bit and flapped and paddled back to it to attack once more. Thought that was it but oh no. He did it again and again untill they were well out of sight. Just managed to get a shot before we went on the attack once more.

At this point his family were way back in the other direction, ha ha.

Here is a picture I took of Mummy swan with her 10 cygnets not long after they were hatched.

Hopefully the third card will be ready to show tomorrow so with that I will sign off for today.

Had a weekend off crafting as such, just started a baby blanket to do a bit of stash busting.
Yesterday I went with my Sister to put some flowers on Mum's grave. It was a beautiful day although there was quite a cool breeze. The graveyard looked beautiful, even though the daffs had died, there were daisies all over the place and the grass had been very well tended.

Thought these flowers looked lovely and fresh. The graveyard is a few miles away from home so we try and visit as regularly as we can to keep it looking nice.

Back to card making tomorrow so will get the results published tomorrow evening.
