Can't believe it is so long since I posted, naughty naughty, must try harder...... to find time to organise my life, ha ha.

Made this card for my Grand-daughter's birthday, 4 today and such a little cutie that I had to make a card to match.

Base card is white linen card.

Flowers are cut myself with my cougar.

Card cut from my own design svg file again on my cougar.

Sentiment card from my design, cut on my cougar.

Some flower layers were glittered with pink ultra fine glitter and were finished off with a gem in the centre.

Off to put the svg file on my new website.

This is a card I have made for a near neighbour who is moving next weekend. It will be sad to see her go, her and her adorable dog Maisie.

Can't for the life in me remember where the paper comes from, I have a feeling it may have been a pack that was free on a magazine but not too sure. memory playing up again, lol.

Image is Flying Tilda and is coloured with copics with a liberal splash of Stickles for a bit of bling. Lace was a gift from my dear friend Kerry, thank you once again Kerry you are too good to me.

Well, I have been really lax in my posting as there has been so much going on recently in my life. Made these cards earlier but only just had the chance to post. Here is number three that I made for my Sister's birthday last week.

My good friend was due to have her special age birthday, now I am a lady so will not say which one, lol. Her lovely hubby had arranged a secret celebration and what made it even more special to me was that the party was on MY birthday, lol. My friend loves elephants so just couldn't resist making this card for her. I got the idea from Bev's blog, to incorporate a card and a gift in one. The card lifts up and reveals a box of chocolates, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

I used:

Basic card white linen for both the card and the box. The box was cut on my Cougar from A3 card.

Backing papers: My Mind's Eye.

Stamp: Whiff of Joy Fred Celebrating, coloured with copics

Cupcake Exploding Box

I made this exploding box as an order from my Daughter. She is pleased with it, which is all I ask. Really enjoy making these, once I have got my brain cell working, ha ha.

Was a very warm job, sun pouring through the window and the temperature in my tiny craft room was soaring ....................................phew!!!

Base cardstock is my usual Snow White Linen Card.

Backing papers are all downloaded from Bearly Mine Designs, just adore these papers.

Bottom layer of images are digi stamps from Sketching Stamper.

Middle layer are Anya Stamps.

Top Layer are also from Sketching Stamper.

The cupcakes on the outside of the box and the tag, are Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. Some really gorgeous images on that site, must get some more, lol.

The cupcake in the centre was cut on my cougar as was the wrapper. The file for the wrapper I downloaded from here.

All images were coloured using copic pens and lashings of Crystal Stickles to add a bit of bling. Flowers, ribbon etc from stash.

The sentiments were printed and foiled.

Hoping it will be a bit cooler in my craft room tomorrow morning as I need to make a Good Luck card.

I had coloured this image, being one my friend gave me, about a week ago and decided to make a card for my Son's Fiance as she loves horses.

I still don't seem to be able to get the light right with my photos, must do better ...................!!

Materials used :

Papers were a freebie with a magazine and can't remember at the moment who the designer is.

Base card is white linen as usual with pink Stardream for the matting. I had a go at sewing the papers but tension wasn't quite right. Thought it had an interesting effect so left it as is, lol

Sentiment was designed on PC, printed on laser printer ( new toy donated by my friend ) and foiled with my laminator.

Getting to like these easle cards, might make a few more, ha ha.

Getting back in the swing of things

I needed to get back into my crafting to get myself back into a near normal life again. A friend and fellow dog walker is getting married this Friday so decided that a bit of crafting therapy was just the thing for me now.

The image is a download from The Stamping Boutique and thought it was far too cute not to buy and use. I coloured the image with Copics and added some tiny self adhesive diamonds to the tiara. Backing paper is from a large Papermania 12" x 12" pad that I bought a few years back now. Flowers and pins from Wild Orchid Crafts . Leaves cut on my Black Cat Cougar cutter from Thyme Graphics and coloured with copics.

Peel off and pearls from stash.

I really enjoyed making the card and now have a few more to complete, so will post them as I do them.

Just a quick post to explain why I haven't been posting on my blog for a long long time.

As you will have seen from the previous post, Christmas was quite a hectic time and coincided with Mum coming out of respite and going back home on Christmas Eve, Unfortunately, she didn't do too well and needed a lot of help and support every day. On 29th January, the doctor admitted her to hospital as her foot had gone cold. They did several scans and we were told that apart from the blockage behind her knee which they did manage to solve, she had several cancers in several organs. As you can imagine, me and my sister were completely devastated, although Mum seemed to take it very calmly. It was made obvious that our Mum would not be going home and over a few weeks we managed to get her into a lovely nursing home. She was moved there but lost her fight for life very quickly and sadly she passed away on the 6th March.

Apart from trying to coming to terms with losing my lovely Mum, there seems to have been so much to sort out and I haven't been in the mood for blogging or indeed crafting. So I apologise to all my friends for not visiting their lovely blogs but hope to be back very soon.

More Bearly Mine Designs papers again, lol. Only using Vol I so far, don't think I will ever tire of these cds.

I am entering this card into two challenges, First one is the new Anyone For Anya challenge where the theme is sugar and Spice and all things nice. The second one is Passion for ProMarkers and their theme is to use at least two of four shades of purple Promarkers. I hope it fits the bill for both challenges.

Been ages since I managed to get some time together to make some cards it seems. Sorry I haven't posted for so long. I have lots on the go at the moment and of course crafting always seems to get put on to the back burner, lol.

Anyway had an order to do so managed to get two cards made at the same time as I have received my order from Bearly Mine Designs and lurrrrvvv the papers on the cds to bits.

This is for an order for a 40th card for a man. I always find it soooo difficult to make men's cards, just get bogged down with the pretty pretty cards and find it hard to leave off all the gorgeous flowers etc.

This is using papers from Designer Extreme Vol I from Bearly Mine Designs and I thought they looked perfect for a man's card.

Image is one I found somewhere on the internet ages and ages ago and coloured with copic markers.

The 40 is cut using a cuttlebug die and then mounted on to card and trimmed.

The second one I made using some more of the Bearly Mine Designs Vol I papers as I printed a few off to see which I wanted to use.

The gorgeous image is WoJ party Animals, cut with cuttle bug dies and coloured again with copics.

Just an added ribbon and some brads was all I needed to finish it.

Hope it isn't ages and ages again before I post and so sorry to all the wonderful bloggers who's blogs I have failed to visit recently, I will try and get back on track as soon as I can.

This weeks Passion for ProMarkers Challenge is to use Rose Pink and Cocoa. Took me a while to choose the stamp to use but thought that pink and brown were perfect for the cupcake image so decided on using this one, he is such a cheeky character.

I made this card for my Brother in Law's birthday and used it in the Passion for ProMarkers FaceBook Launch Challenge ( phew that was a mouthful, lol). The lovely people of PfP chose my card as the winning one. Wooo Hooo, never won a challenge before that could be because I haven't entered them though, ha ha. I was thrilled to bits and recieved 2 stamps from Greeting Farm and a bar of chocolate with a gorgeous wrapper around it. Thank you Ladies ( Gina and Ida ) for my lovely prizes.

A new Flower Bowl Card

This is a new version of the Flower Bowl card. I have used the same flowers etc obviously in different colours, lol, but have added a lace lattice to the front of the card. I have made the bowl edge as part of a lining instead of part of the card to enable the lattice to show up.

I am going to perfect the files and convert them and they will then be put on my website. Will probably be over the weekend now as it is my birthday tomorrow and don't know if I will have the time to do much crafting, lol. Of course it will all depend on what I get for my birthday as I may get something to play with, ha ha.

Flower Bowl Card

Made this today after designing the file for my Cougar Black Cat. For those who do not know what the Cougar is , you can find all the details here.

The base card was cut from white linen card. All flowers were cut from Pink Petticoat papers and stardream papers. Shaped the petals layered up and put a gem in the centre of each of them. Peel off for the sentiment and that is about it. The ribbon is an aid to pulling the flowers out of the bowl as they are attached to a message card.

Made this from another of my files on the website. Card including aperture was cut on my Cougar Black cat. papaer is a foiled purple that I found in my stash. Edged using a punch and used on frony and on inside of card. I added an acetate wrapper shortened at front and edged with peel offs and a border and flowers which were all from my stash.

Think I need some more Mums, lol. Only have the one as my dear MIL is no longer with us so mine is getting spoilt now.

This is one of the cards that I couldn't post until they had been sent and received. I cut this card from one of my files that will be added to my website later. It was cut from tapestry card then folded. Lined with pink stardream paper, I then added a ribbon to left side and 3 roses in the bottom corner, along with a cuttlebug corner to complete.

This is another of last weeks cards. This time I used a topper from my website, cut in red pearlised paper then glittered with crystal glitter. I then mounted it onto gold mirri card. A few more layers and then onto the card. Rose, charm and gems from my stash.

Not sure about this. I designed my own birdhouse template for my cougar cutter. Ok with the design but not too sure about the card I made, lol.

I received a gift from my friend the other day. It was a selection of Promarkers, wow. Never used these before so thought I would have a bit of a play, so this is my very first attempt at colouring in an image using promarkers. Think I need a bit more practice, lol.

This was another order from my sister. papers are once again Pink Petticoat and the image is a Vicky download. Coloured with watercolour pencils.

Flower cut on my Cougar as were all the papers/ The sentiments were also writen on my Cougar.

Have not gone back on my challenge to make at least one card a day but recent ones I cannot show until they have been sent and received lol.

Ok, cheated a little, yet again, lol.

Did make a start on this yesterday evening, but the making up of the card was done this morning so I am counting it as todays card.

I have so many cds and hardly ever use them so I thought I would rectify that and make this card.

Papers and images are from Elegant Fans by Joanna Sheen.

Card is Stardream card in lilac and gold.

Fans are decoupaged and a little bit of cosmic shimmer pink glitter glue added to the flowers. Finished with a ribbon, flower, charm and peel off sentiment from my stash.

60th Birthday Card

This was an order from my Mum, last minute as usual. Rings me at 6.30pm and needs the card delivering to her next afternoon, lol.

Anyway, used one of my designs for my Cougar cutter that I already had so that cut the time down a bit. The topper was glittered as was the 60. Flowers and peel offs were from my stash.

Mum was pleased with it so that was all that mattered.

Made this card and hanging treat box after seeing Bev's wonderful creation on her blog here.
Papers are from Funky Hands, image is a stamp I have had for a long time, sorry I don't know anything else about it. Image coloured with watercolour pencils. Flowers from prima and large roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. Sentiments were written using my Black Cat Cougar and also cut out with it. Card stock is stardream card and the panel on the card was run through one of my cuttlebug folders to give some texture.
All scalloped circles etc were cut on my Cougar.

It has been far too long since I last posted on my blog, I hope everyone hasn't forgotten me, lol.

Had a week on the wonderful Isle of Mull, one of the best weeks yet.

Came back to lots of problems so had no motivation to do anything at all.

THINK the website is up and running again, which was an ongoing problem since before my holiday, my poor son has been working very hard with the hosts to hopefully sort it all out and had redesigned it for me too, so a big thank you to him.

Have acquired a noisy neighbour which has resulted in sleepless nights and slight panic attacks during the day so have not done anything at all in the craft department, I am sorry.

Will hopefully have a catch up with all the blogs that I love to visit and a big apology for not looking and commenting on them for so long.

Anyway, made 2 cards over the last couple of days, one of which I will post later when my friend has received it.

This one was a 'have to make' as said friend brought me some wonderful flowers etc from her holiday in America and they certainly inspired my mojo to get working again. Thank you again Debbie.

Papers are from an old set of pastel papers by Papermania, I think.

Image is Lily picking flowers stamp from the Rachelle Anne Miller collection.

Flowers are Prima and large rose paper flowers.

Charm, chain, peel off butterfly etc are all from my stash.

Felt in the mood to make a card today so thought I would make one for my lovely Mum. No particular reason, just because .....................!

Card and matching topper were cut in white linen card and stardream paper then the topper was glittered as were the Mum letters. Attached roses and some pearl drops and peel offs in the corners.All cutting was done on my Black Cat Cougar.

Card for a friend's husband

Made this for a friends husband's birthday. Not till 16th May but we go away on our twice yearly jaunt to the isle of Mull for a week on that day so thought it was better to be prepared this time, lol! I always seem to be at the last minute with things at the moment.

Image and backing paper is from Joanna Sheen's Jayne Netley Mayhew cd. The butterfly is from a sheet of toppers I found in Yorkshire Trading Company shop which has just opened in our town where the sadley missed Woolworth store used to be. They are a 3d sticker and depict real butterflies and I thought they were rather cute.
Card and mirri card plus ribbon are from my stash.

I haven't been able to do much with my blog as my webhosts have messed up my website nad I have been busy trying to find out what they have done. Turns out they are moving everything to a new server and although they moved my website domain they have not yet moved the database required to actually see the contents of the site. Hmmm, not impressed as they didn't inform me that they were doing anything so could not prepare for it. Seems it will be after the bank holiday now. Sorry to anyone who tried the website nad could not access it.

Jessica's Party Invites

My eldest Granddaughter will be 7 years old on Saturday 25th and is having a small 'exclusive' Pink Birthday Party on the day. She asked if when they came down to our house this afternoon if she could make the three invitations. So seeing as her and her sister ( Isabel aged 15months) were coming for the afternoon I thought I had better make a set in kit form with all the elements for her to put together. I printed the basic cards on my computer using some Pink Petticoat backing paper design and Bell Bottom Laser font for the text. I then made the PINK letters by cutting out in white then in the same pink as the card, cutting them on my Black Cat Cougar. Assembled them and put sticky pads on the back ready to be applied to the card. Jessica has just finished them so thought I would take a picture and post them on my blog.

I now have to finish cutting and assembling the banner I have designed for the summer house which is going to be the venue for the party weather permitting that is !!

A Christening card in a hurry!!

Had to cheat for this card as I had forgotten the date of the christening. It has to be posted down to London so I needed to get it done and ff so it was recieved before this coming weekend. Knowing our wonderful Royal Mail, there was no way I was leaving it any longer.

I downloaded a card kit from here and this particular design is by Kizzy Dizzy Designs. I printed off with my own greeting inside etc and embellished a little more than the original. Useing real ribbon in place of the paper ones and a flora doodle and charm instead of the paper flower on the print out.

Posting it tomorrow so hope it arrives in time.

Made a few more Easter Cards over the last few days. Not been able to do too much at once as I seem to have a stubborn eye infection that doesn't want to respond to treatment. Have got some different medication for it this morning so hopefully that will sort the problem out.

All the cards were made using Pink Peticoat images and backing papers, images coloured with watercolour pencils and blended with a damp paint brush. All other embellishments from my stash.

Easter card number 2

Second easter card, no real good light today so sorry for the quality of the photo.

Green Bazzil card with punched corners, punched orange strip with yellow ribbon decoration. Flower is a Flora Doodle and 2 of my own design flowers on top using Pink Petticoat papers. Secured with a brad and spacer. Chick image is from Pink Petticoat and sentiment was printed on to acitate and 'rubbed on'.
Had a yellow feather so attached that with a flower gem to finish.

First Easter Card

First easter Card I have aver made to be perfectly honest. Not something that we as a family have ever done. Thought I would have a change this year and as I was on a roll with my card making it was a good excuse.

Papers are from Papermania Temptations pack. Card is bazill, all elemants except for the right hand corner flourish which is a cuttlebug die, were cut on my Cougar. Flower from stash and the spacer is an idea I got from Bev, thank you for all your inspiration Bev.

Son's Birthday Card

My Son is Football mad, specificaly Liverpool so thought this would be appropriate for him. He will be 31 but what the heck, he is still a boy to me, ha ha!!
Backing papers are from Scrapbookingmad and the footballer is George from Charmed Cards & Crafts.
I coloured George withjh watercolour pencils and cut him out then mounted onto more backing paper. Stars and trophy are cut from my Black Cat Cougar and embellished with star gems and ribbons on the trophy.
I do hope he likes it!!

Mums Birthday Card

My wonderful Mum will be 86 at the begining of April so made this card for her. She loves the fancier cards I make so hope this will fit the bill.

The base card is white tapestry card. Funky Hands backing papers mounted onto a teracotta Bazzilcard. Sarah Kay image is coloured using watercolour pencils then mounted onto a lace edged piece od same Bazzil card. The Happy Birthday to you was printed on the PC then attached with a brad. Flower is made up of 3 Flora Doodles and attached with another brad. Ribbon, peel offs and gems from my stash.

Another retirement card

Had another retirement card order for my Sister to give a work mate. Unfortunately her uniform colour was dark blue yet again so couldn't get my mind around any other colour way than the first one I did. I just hope this is different enough for her.

Backing paper is from Artylicious Fantasy Floral, character from Dottie at Work download. Flowers are Flora Doodles and the top right brad I pressed into a Versamark pad then into Midnight/Emerald Obsidian ( by Stampman) embossing powder and then heated with heat gun. I was quite happy with the effect I got, so means I can use up loads of brads I got from QVC ages ago. The scalloped band was cut on my Black Cat Cougar machine as was the scalloped mat behind Dottie. Dottie was coloured in using my water colour pencils. A few peel offs and gems, completed the card.

Another 'PINK' card

This card was made using another one of the files available on my website. This is a letter J in a lattice shape with a lilac backer. I then mounted this onto a pink mat and edged with fine silver peel offs. The daisies are also from my website and cut in a few different shades of pink and lilac, stacked and applied to card with either a brad or a jewel. A few more jewels finished off the card. This was sent to a forum friend for her birthday, she has received it now so I can show it on my blog.

Busy designing new files for my website but should hopefully have maybe a couple more to show either today or tomorrow.

Mother's Day card

Finally got round to making a card today. Thought I had better get a Mother's Day Card made in readiness. I used a cutting file that I designed myself, cut in 2 different shades of pink and layered up to get the spiro effect. I then made a flower from my own daisies file and attached with a plain silver brad. All cutting was done on my Black Cat Cougar. Decorated with peel offs.

The files I designed will be on my website shortly.

So sorry I haven't been posting for a while. I have been busy with 'life' as we say! Also been getting a website up and running with files for various cutting machines i.e. KNK, CraftRobo and Black Cat.
Not too much on there yet as I have only had it going for a week or so. Please feel free to have a look if you have the time. Will be back to posting when I have managed to get some cards etc done. I have a few to do in the next week or so and will post as soon as.

Managed to fulfill a last minute order from my sister to give a work mate. She gave me 2 days notice and is picking it up this morning, phew!!!

Advent Train for my Grand Daughter Jessica

Have managed to finish this Advent Train for Jessica, just in time to fill it and pass it on to her ready for 1st December.

The train was cut with my KNK using a file by Linda (Shopmo) which I purchased from Thyme Graphics site.

Cut it all in white linen card ( it takes a lot!!) , the pink is the same card run through the printer before cutting. The silver is mirri card and was a pig to glue, I have learnt my lesson with that and will not be using it again if I can help it for intricate bits.

Other than the mirri card it was fun to make and I hope Jessica gets as much fun out of opening the little draws every day.

40th Birthday Exploding Box

Another exploding box for an order. Something more modern was called for, so decided to use Pink Petticoat papers and images. The box it'self with it's gorgeous cut out swirls was given me by my friend Debbie who has a great website that should be of interest to everyone especially those with cutting machines like KNK or Craft Robo. She has some fab things on her site for download and is well worth a visit. Click here to visit Debbies site.

The box was cut out of white linen card and all PP backing papers were printed onto pink Stardream paper., as was the tiny handbag in the centre. The PP images were coloured using mainly Sakura pens. The flowers were cut on my KNK out of the same pink Stardream and the leaves from some silver paper I had in my stash. Flowers and leaves were embossed to give them shape, attached and then decorated with gems and ribbon from my stash. The icing on the cupcakes and other cakes was done with Diamond Stickles. The sentiment was cut on my KNK using the same pink and silver paper.

This was a planned card. LOL! New printer arrived this morning so managed to get it set up and print some things from Joanna Sheen's Fashion Boutique cd. It was an order from my daughter ( she keeps my order book going, bless her). Just matted and layered with gold silk mirror card and added peel offs and some velvet ribbon.

Another Silver Wedding Card

Just when I thought I had finished with these Silver Wedding Cards, was suffering with a stinking cold and had my printer die on me, I get a phone call from my Mum asking if I could make a card for her to give my Sister and her hubby. Phew, wasn't really in the mood for card making but hope I managed to do something suitable! Mum didn't have time to post it so I have written and posted it myself unseen by Mum. Need to print a picture off to show her on Thursday! The camera hasn't picked up the silver very well and looks blue in parts, must be a reflection, sorry about that. Not a very good light when I took the photograph.
